Our sustainability mission is to implement smart solutions that span across packaging, carbon footprint, ethical sourcing, and non-toxic ingredients. Our boxes and postcards for example are made from FSC certified paper sourced from a socially responsible and environmentally friendly forest management, where they replant a tree for every tree cut. Shipping boxes, tape, and fillings are all biodegradable. As we strive to constantly do better on our part we ask you to as well and please dispose of the packaging thoughtfully.

As a renowned celebrity makeup artist, content creator, and photographer, Chelsea Gehr (Founder), recognized the growing demand for clean, effective skincare solutions that illuminate skin both on and off the camera. In 2017, she embarked on a mission to fulfill this need, giving birth to SKINNED.
From its inception, SKINNED captured the hearts of beauty enthusiasts worldwide with its debut product, the sensational Sex Appeal Gold Lust Body Oil, swiftly garnering a cult following. Building on this success, Chelsea joined forces with Cara Scott, entrepreneur, filmmaker and founder of creative agency Other Half, in 2024. Together, they embarked on a journey to transform SKINNED into more than just a skincare brand – a lifestyle emblem.
Through their collaboration, Chelsea and Cara have curated a collection of innovative products that expand upon the beloved original formula, catering to the modern individual seeking simplicity and efficacy in their beauty routine. With a fusion of expertise from the commercial and beauty industries, they've sculpted SKINNED into a haven for artistic expression, transcending the confines of conventional beauty content.
