LOVE ON FILM

In this "In Your Skin" series we decided to focus on L O V E . We sent 5 couples each a Valentine package with a disposable camera and 3 of our favorite products: Flora & Bast Aphrodesia Arousal Oil, 4AM Skin Rise + Rest serums, & of course, our Sex Appeal Body Oil. We asked them to use the products at their leisure and show us a glimpse in to their life using the entire roll of film. Of course we had to ask some intimate questions to go along with the theme...
Right after received these images back, Steven proposed to Ria. I have yet to meet them in person, but through this interview & roll of film I have a good idea of what their relationship is like. A love without conditions. The kind that makes you realize we shouldn't settle for less. Read on to get inspired.
S: How did you meet?
R & S: We met about 10 years ago in Utah where we both grew up through mutual friends. Steven always had a girlfriend so we started out as just friends, but always had secret crushes on each other. We were always the last ones standing at every party and became close that way. We only had to wait 8 years for our first kiss! He flew to meet me in Mexico and we hadn’t seen each other in person for 4 years. I had no idea what was going to happen, I don’t think either of us expected to fall in love but we did hard and fast!

S: Now let's really get in to it...What is your favorite body part on one another?
R: Steven’s blue eyes. I’m obsessed I think he’s so damn handsome.
S: There’s not a part on Ria I’m not in love with. But, for the sake of an answer, her delicate hands are stunningly gorgeous and I live for her beard scratches.
What’s the color that best describes your sex life?
R & S: Cream. Duh. <3
S: What are your astrology signs?
R: Aquarius
S: Gemini
S: What did you do on your most recent date?
R & S: It was my birthday recently so Steven took me out to dinner at Café Stella in LA. We followed that up with some dive bar hopping to even things out. We’re fancy but also dirtbags at heart.
S: What are each of your love languages?
R: Physical touch is a big one for me. Lucky for me Steven loves to cuddle and touch, and I love that. S: Physical touch and quality time. Which works out well for us because we can’t keep our hands off each other and hate to be apart.
How/Why is self-care important in your relationship and how do you connect from it?
R & S: Taking care of ourselves and each other is key! We’re both busy people with crazy jobs so it’s important to make sure we don’t get burned out. I love pampering Steven with a face mask or a massage, guys need that too!
S: What makes you thrive in your relationship?
R & S: Communication! I’m a writer and Steven is a chatty Gemini so we’re constantly bouncing thoughts, ideas and jokes back and forth. Being able to talk about things when they come up is a god send and luckily I think we’re pretty good at that.
S: What do you love most about each other? About your relationship?
R: Steven is one of the hardest working people I know but he always puts us first. He’s a stone cold badass with a heart of gold and he treats me like a queen. He’s my partner in every sense of the word, we ride side by side, we’re both tough people to keep up with, but he’s always been right there.
S: Ria is such a dynamic creature. She’s straight thug when she needs to be; the center of the party when the time comes; a top-tier pervert in all the right ways; and a loving, nurturing sweetheart when I need it. She’s a true partner, always next to me. She treats me like a king and I’ve honestly never felt so loved before. I can live the rest of my life content in her tiny little bird arms.
